Susan McLaughlin is a Bay Area artist for over 30 years. She draws her inspiration from the myriad flowers of her Hawaiian youth to the begonia festivals of Capitola. She creates striking compositions by lovingly replicating forms she photographs from flora which call to mind the delicate and transient quality of nature.
